Dermapen Skin Needling – Collagen Induction Therapy

Using the very latest technology in medical grade micro needling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, this minimally invasive treatment uses a sterile and disposable mechanical needling device that glides over the skin to create thousands of micro-channels to encourage collagen renewal through a natural wound healing response which helps tighten, plump and improve skin texture.

Needling stimulates the body’s healing and regenerative processes and is generally fairly painless for most clients with little to no downtime following your treatment.  Healing time depends on individual clients, expect a little swelling and redness similar to sunburn, this can last for two to four days following treatment.

It is recommended that your skin is prepared prior to skin needing to include Tyrosinase Inhibitors, Daily SPF and a Vitamin A for maximum results.

Post treatment pinpoint bleeding can be expected but should not continue.  Bruising, crusting and light flaking may occur on the days following the procedure.  Do not be tempted to pick or peel the skin prematurely as this can cause infection and possible scarring.  It is important to use a daily broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen.

For optimal results a course of treatments is highly recommended one month apart.
